When witches gather in Cumbria it’s magical but there isn’t a broomstick in sight!
Natasha , owner of the Coach House Studio in Appleby, formed the White Feather Witches.
“For me, being a witch is about the connection to nature: the lunar cycles, the seasons or even the cycles of day and night… There’s still the old fashioned concept of a witch with green skin and a big nose. It all stems from the witch trials and the horrific things that went on then- witches were scared and lived in fear of their lives, so the word ‘witch became frightening’”
Natasha’s talk will focus on what modern day witchcraft encompasses and how it can help people find ways to listen and tune in to the natural cycles that are all around us.
